Today, for the second day of 31 Days of Recommendations, you should read This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. It is one of my favorite books, and I simply cannot stress enough how much I recommend it.
Why you should read it:
This Is How You Lose the Time War is set in a world divided in two camps, each trying to spin the threads of time into their prefered story. Written from the perspective of one agent from each camp, Red and Blue, the book is a series of letters each writes to the other, a love story separated by time, space, and everything in between. The writing is incredible, the characters are superb, and the plot is enthralling.
